You’ve got to hand it to Shaa’ir + Func for effort. Not only are they currently letting you in on the songs for their third studio album, but they’re also prepping a new acoustic album to be released in September/October.
According to their blog
S+F fans have been writing asking about the 3rd album. when will it be released. is the version that is up on our myspace page (we put a preview up on www.myspace.com/shaairandfunc) the final version?
well basically, we are still in the polishing stages – simultaneously working on an acoustic “best of” album as well. We are aiming to release officially in Sept/October of this year.
While we wont hold them to their deadline, we’re definitely looking forward to more music from India’s most prolific indie act.
They’ve also put up a bunch of live videos from their performance at the South Asian Bands Festival earlier this year. Check out ‘Selling Our Souls’.
