Junkyard GrooveJunkyard Groove have been surprisingly prolific with their videography over the past week. The video for the song ‘It’s OK’ was released a few days ago, and they’ve followed that up with a video for the song ‘Let You Go’ (which is featured in the freely downloadable EP Nicer In A Minute). While the video for ‘It’s OK’ took an in-studio look at the band performing said song, ‘Let Me Go’s video duties have been outsourced to Chicago, where director Mihir Desai takes us through the love and life of and American couple.

The song itself is largely unimaginative, but efficient pop-rock and the video doesn’t do it many favours. Where ‘It’s OK’ was a fun insight to the band recording the song, Desai’s work comes off as impersonal and affected, dragging out a 30-second plot to the song’s nearly five minute length.
