Mumbai’s got another great gig week lined up.

Indiecision interview alums Sridhar/Thayil play two dates in Mumbai this week. If overpriced gate charges and Italian food is your thing, catch them at il terrazzo on Wednesday, Feb 11. Otherwise, head to the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival on Sunday, Feb 15 and catch their brand of contemporary urban pop.

International jazz act Metro play a date at the St Andrews Auditorium on Wednesday, Feb 11.

The JD Rock Awards on Thursday, Feb 12 at the Hard Rock Cafe will see performances by Hipnotribe and a ‘tribute to Guitar Gods’ courtesy Amyt Dutta (Skinny Alley), Dhruv Ghanekar, Floyd Fernandes (Distil Soul), Rex Vijayan (Avial) and Rudy Wallang (Soulmate). The event will be hosted by Luke Kenny, and entry is Rs 500.

Anoushka Shankar plays two dates at the Blue Frog (Feb 14 and 15) as part of her mini-tour of the country. Tickets are Rs 1,000 which is steep, but expect a packed weekend audience in attendance.
