The aftermath Nov 26 attack on Mumbai got a lot of musicians creatively active about a lot of things. From Raghu Dixit and Karsh Kale‘s musical tributes to Vishal Dadlani‘s call from SmallChange, the Indian indie music community had something to say about what happened. As did politicians, marketing companies and everyone with any access to any form of media. And, according to Monica Dogra (aka Shaa’ir, of Shaa’ir + Func), not all of them did it out of some sort of social responsibility.

In a post titled ‘Response’ on the band’s blog, she explains

What followed was a video of the band’s recent unplugged performance at il Terrazzo where the vocalist launched into a monologue about people who “talk about, talk about, talk about change” but do fairly little. She ends with “I don’t really need your website, but sure, I’ll sign your petition.”

Cheeky? Take the jump for the video.
