Zeest debut album is still under progress & almost 60-65% of the album is ready. But before the album releases, Zeest will be launching their much awaited new Single very soon. Its all about financially frustrated Indo-Pak youth life; hope all of you going to love Zeest’s new single. While final mixing and some strategic planning for the mass media release is still under process. Till then keep in touch.

A whole year later, we have the aforementioned new single, though no sign of the album just yet. Said single is ’100 Rupai’ which the band describes as “A Treat for the Current Global Recession”.

Where ‘BC Sutta’ made its mark in engineering colleges and B-schools across the country largely due to it’s use of profanity and the lo-fi creativity of it all, ’100 Rupai’ is far more affected. The song is nowhere near as fresh as ‘Sutta’, borrowing liberally from early Bryan Adams (‘Cuts Like A Knife’ to be precise) and that ‘Paisa’ song by one hit wonder Agosh. The result is a song that is hardly as relevant as its subject, and far less memorable than its predecessor.
