Black Lips India Dates Finalised, Finally

Black Lips’ fluctuating India tour schedule has been the cause of much bother for peeps looking to catch the US indies in the country. Finally now we seem to have a definite (in the relative sense of anything in India being definite) set of dates that the band is scheduled to play

17th Jan – Pune
20th Jan – Mumbai
22nd Jan – Delhi
23rd Jan – Chennai
24rd Jan – Kolkata
25th Jan – Kolkata
29th Jan – Bangalore

That’s right Delhi folks, you have a date, one that wasn’t part of the previous schedule. The Delhi date will see the band share the stage with Indigo Children (formerly known as The Superfuzz). The Mumbai date will be part of the Climate Solutions gig at the Bandra Bandstand Amphitheatre, where the band will share the stage with, among others, Swarathma and Rosemary.

Don’t expect to see too much on-stage madness from the Lips though. The band has already stated that they’re going to be well behaved on this tour. So no, they probably wont make out with you, or each other, while performing.
