Top gig weeks like this are hard to come by, so make sure you’ve got your schedulers set and your gig stash well saved.

Head to Hard Rock Cafe on Thursday, Jan 15, to watch Pentagram take stage for what will be their first club date in Mumbai in a long time. Pentagram are always great live, and it’s been a while since you had that legendary Hard Rock Appletini.

Austrian ‘vocal groove’ project, and Best Gig International winners (at The Indiecision ’08), Bauchklang hit the Blue Frog on Jan 15, 16 and 17. The shows on Friday and Saturday are bound to be packed, and cost Rs 500, so if like your beat-boxing to be of the non-Mumbai local train variety, and you don’t mind missing Pentagram, feel free to head to the Frog on Thursday. Though, take it from us, you wont mind spending the extra 200 if you can’t hit the club on Jan 15.

Also scheduled to play in Mumbai this week are Black Lips. We don’t have a confirmation on the venue just yet, but as soon as we do, you’ll be the first to hear about it.
