November’s a quiet month in Mumbai.

Head to Blue Frog on Thursday night for the release of Dutch band, The Ploctones’, new album 050 on Blue Frog Records. The quartet from Amsterdam will be playing at the Frog for the second time and have got themselves a distribution deal with BFR. Their music is, you guessed it, new-wave-jazz-funk-rock-blue-frog. The band doesn’t have its own MySpace (the frontman does), but guess who played at Amsterdam recently.

The Ploctones also play the Mumbai Utsav Jazz Festival on Sunday. But the sound at Blue Frog is better.
