The Raghu Dixit Project To Record New Album Next Year

At the recent Rock On For Humanity gig, Raghu Dixit performed a new song which would appear, as the frontman of The Raghu Dixit Project promised, on a new album. RDP’s gig, though short, was one of the highlights of the evening.

I spoke to Gaurav Vaz (bass) about the band’s recently concluded international mini-tour (more on that later). Gauraz confirmed that the band would begin work on the new album early next year, though no release date has been set yet. The bassist said

Right now we’re focussing on promoting the first album down south. We will be re-releasing it again in Karnataka with special packing.

Raghu Dixit is pretty popular in Karnataka courtesy the success of the music he provided for a few Kannada films.
