Ashutosh Phatak Releases Sigh Of An Angel, Oct 16

Blue Frog co-owner Ashutosh Phatak will release his debut album Sigh Of An Angel on Blue Frog Records on Oct, 16. According to the press release

Mumbai-born composer Ashutosh Phatakâ??s music is the stuff of dreams. Opulent, lucid and at times unsettling, Ashuâ??s mystic sound scapes artfully weave stories of love and loss, of hope and fear: stories that are at once intensely personal and invitingly universal. His debut album â??Sigh of an Angelâ?? is rooted in duality, and exists in fantastic worlds that are intimate, expansive and rich in their visual imagery.

‘Unsettling’ is correct, as proved by Ashu’s gig at the Blue Frog earlier this year. The album will be released at a free gig at the Frog on Thursday which will feature the same set of performers who performed at the May gig.
