Medusa, Advaita, Indigo Children (formerly known as The Superfuzz) and Swarathma are the four bands that get to spend three precious days each in studio with acclaimed producer John Leckie. British Council’s Soundpad initiative saw a bunch of bands battle it out earlier this year for the opportunity to record with Leckie with just four bands making the cut. Over the next two weeks the Council will be posting videos of the bands in studio on the official (and drop linked) website.

Medusa hit the studio first. The electronic kids from Mumbai have seen a major change in direction (and lineup) since their first album Survival Of The Fittest. In their first video (Day 1) we see them recording the song ‘I Become I’. The band are visibly nervous and let Leckie have a free hand with the direction of the song.

Hit the jump for the video.
