It’s been a few weeks since The Superfuzz changed to Indigo Children. Over that period the band has added a new member (Rahul Sainani of Joint Family) and has participated in Sutasi, Singapore. Indigo Children is the fourth avatar of the band (Copperstoned, The Superfuzz Bigmuff, The Superfuzz), with the band explaining on RSJ
our sound is changing a bit, and we have new members. but most of all, all that stuff about indigo children makes sense to us. i can’t say if i believe it or not because there’s no way to confirm that stuff except by observing things around you, and when i observe the way things are these days, i see a correlation there.
and fuck, we’re just a band, we’re not on a crusade or anything. at least, its a pretty name, at best its the pleiadian masters channeling thier powers into the new light beings on earth. i don’t know, its just rock n roll.
Poor spelling aside, the band has always been a little pretentious. But that’s their thing, and now they’re out with a new demo called ‘Sing To Me’. It defines the change in the band’s direction, moving away from their pop-punk sound to a more traditional alternative vibe. According to the band, the song is “about acknowledging the presence of the cosmic giggle and asking it to interact with you.”
Sure. Stream it on the band’s MySpace.
