Them Clones Gucci Starts Crazy Weather

Gucci Singh is better know as guitarist for top alternative act Them Clones. Crazy Weather is his new project which is “Apart from a list of covers, this is a collection of some of my own songs written over a few years.” He’s joined in the band by Nikhil Rufus of Indigo Children (formerly known as The Superfuzz) on bass and Kumar of Advaita on drums.

Crazy Weather was formed by guitar player/songwriter Gucci. After having played with premier Delhi based band Them Clones for over 8 years, this is a collection of a few of his own songs. After watching from the sidelines, many creative young musicians in Delhi, Kumar(drums-Advaita) and Nikhil (bass-The Superfuzz) were asked to record parts for this collection of songs, which will be updated shortly.

The song ‘No Sex’ is up for streaming on said MySpace, lyrics of which were posted on Gucci’s blog earlier this year. The band promise new material soon. Commentary on ‘No Sex’ later.

Them Clones played a sweet set at the Blue Frog earlier this month.
