In Store: Landmark, Andheri

Music stores in India either surprise or disappoint. In Store takes a look at whatâ??s on offer, where music is sold.

The photo above is not a fake people. Return To Cookie Mountain is available at Landmark, Andheri for just 99 bucks. The store’s having a massive sale (music, books, DVDs, games, etc) which runs out in a few days. Music wise there’s not many great finds but 99 bucks for the album that made TV On The Radio is uneffinmissable.

The rest of the sale box was filled with old Ricky Martin CDs and ‘wellness’ crap. The only other good find was the Supergrass is 10 DVD (covert in store pic after the jump) which was on 50% off (about 500 bucks after sale). The DVD has videos of all Supergrass’ singles between ’94 and ’04 and a short film about the band.

The sale ends soon and there were at least three copies of Cookie Mountain in the box.
