Bio
Basement Jaxx is a house duo from London, formed in 1994. The duo comprises Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe. Basement Jaxx have album sales of more than three million under their belt including their legendary debut album Remedy and 2005’s double platinum UK No. 1 collection The Singles. In 2005, they collected their first Grammy for Best Electronic Album to add to the two BRIT’s (Best Dance Act) and numerous other awards already on the shelf. 2011 has already seen them do a unique collaboration with the Metropole Orkest which has it’s UK debut at the Barbican in London in June and will see the first Basement Jaxx movie soundtrack, for Joe Cornish’s Attack The Block, as well as new material for release later this year.
Basement Jaxx (DJ Set) will headline the Eristoff Wolves Den at the 2011 edition of the Bacardi NH7 Weekender.
